Christopher C. Spinosa Jr. – Editor-In-Chief

Christopher is a 3L in the Full-Time day Program from Manorville, New York. While attending the University at Albany, State University of New York, Christopher studied Finance and Management and played the Alto Saxophone in the Marching Band. At Touro Law, Christopher interned with the United States Attorney’s Office and United States Magistrate Judge James M. Wicks. This past summer, Christopher held a Summer Associate position with Guercio & Guercio, LLP.

Amber N. Roibu – Managing Editor

Amber grew up as a first-generation Romanian-American in Queens, New York. Prior to joining Touro Law, Amber graduated from the City College of New York with a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering and double minors in Chemistry and Mathematics. After having spent two years working as a Chemical Engineer, Amber decided to chase her dream of becoming a patent attorney. She has been fortunate to have spent almost two years working as a Patent Prosecution Law Clerk at the reputable Carter, DeLuca & Farrell, LLP where has accepted a post-grad position. When not at Touro, Amber enjoys spending time with her family, husband Edward, and cats, Timon, Hamish, and Finn.

Samantha M. Davis – Issue Editor

Samantha is 3L in the Full-Time Day Program at Touro Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center and will practice in the area of trust and estate litigation. In the fall, she worked as a judicial extern with the Honorable James M. Wicks, United States Magistrate Judge, for the United States District Court Eastern District of New York. She is very active in the local wildlife rescue and conservation community.

Brian J. Muff – Issue Editor

Brian Muff is a 3L at Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg law Center. He is an Honor Program Scholar and has presented his Note concerning the constitutionality of prayer at a school board meeting at the Federal Bar Association’s Student Scholar Program. Brian has a strong interest in trust and estate law and would like to also pursue a judicial clerkship after graduation.

Samuel J. Creech – Articles Editor

Sam is from the East end of Long Island, where he currently resides, and is spending his summer at a boutique firm focusing on land use and real estate. As an undergrad student, Sam graduated from CUNY Queens College with a B.A. in English. Before coming to law school, Sam worked freelance in New York’s film and television production industry. Alongside his role in the Law Review, Sam serves as a writing coach at the Touro Law Writing Center. This past fall, Sam was an extern with the Federal Defenders of New York at the Federal Courthouse in Central Islip.

Anthony J. Ranieri – Business Editor

Anthony J. Ranieri is a full-time, third-year law student at Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. Anthony graduated from Binghamton University in 2021, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. For the past two summers, he has worked as a summer associate at Florio Leahy LLP, an investment management law firm. This spring, Mr. Ranieri will be working with both the United States Attorney’s Office and Bartlett LLP. After graduation, Anthony seeks to obtain employment in the areas of securities or real estate law.

Alexa D. Sondey – Online Editor

Alexa is a full-time, second-year law student. She graduated from St. John’s University with a Bachelor of Science in Homeland Security. In addition to her role as Online Editor, she is the Co-President of Touro’s Women’s Bar Association, Marketing Director of the Student Bar Association, and works as a LexisNexis Student Representative. During law school, Alexa interned for a Federal District Court Judge in the Eastern District of New York and was an extern with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Criminal Division. Alexa will be interning for Kirkland & Ellis LLP, in the Summer of 2024.

Arturo E. Cochero- Online Editor

Arturo is a 3L in the Full-Time Day Program at Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. In addition to being one of the current Online Editor of the Touro Law Review, He is also the Treasure of PILOT and Secretary of the Cyber Law Society. Arturo graduated from the University at Albany, State University of New York, where he graduated with a Bachelor in Political Science with a concentration in Public Law and minored in Criminal Justice.

Throughout his time at Touro Arturo has externed with the Horobale Magistrate Judge Ona Wang, in the United States District Court of the Southern District of New York, interned at Voxx International Corpotation’s legal department, the Touro University clinic for Mortgages Foreclosure and Bankruptcy, and Silberstein, Awad, and Miklos. In the spring semester, he will be interning at Vigorito, Baker, Patterson, Nichols, and Porter, LLP. After graduation, Arturo seeks to obtain employment in the areas of commercial litigation or intellectual property, more specifically trademark and copyright law.

Patrick F. FaivreAssociate Issue Editor

Patrick is beginning his last year as a part-time student at Touro in the Flex division. Patrick is a full-time high school history teacher and coaches football. In addition to being a member of Law Review for the last three years, he is also the President of the Federalist Society. He wants to welcome all of the new junior staffers to Law Review and is excited to get to work with all of you.

Allison D. Baal – Senior Research Editor

Allison is the Senior Research Editor and is a 3L in the Full-Time Day Program at Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Stony Brook University and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Baruch College. Prior to law school, she worked in the non-profit sector as an event coordinator and fundraiser. In addition to Law Review, Allison is the Chapter Director of Touro’s chapter of the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) and Secretary of the Animal Legal Defense Fund (ALDF).

Donna Arzanipour – Research Editor

Donna Arzanipour is a 2L and a Research Editor for the Touro Law Review. Donna graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Applied Math/Statistics. Last summer, Donna was a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Wicks in the United States District Court of the Eastern District of New York. She is a member of the Honors Program and the Secretary of the Real Estate and Tax Law Society.

Mattie Curry – Research Editor

Mattie is a lifelong resident of Suffolk County, Long Island. Before attending Touro Law, she graduated from Stony Brook University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. On top of her Law Review membership, Mattie serves as a staff member on the Moot Court Honors Board and is an Honors Program Student-Scholar. In her free time, Mattie enjoys trips to the beach, trying new foods, traveling, and hanging out with her dog.

James Toomey – Research Editor

James grew up on Long Island and earned his Bachelor of Arts at Stony Brook University where he majored in Political Science. Currently, he is a 3L in the Full-Time Day Program at Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center. James is interested in education, municipal, and administrative law.

Brian Wersan – Research Editor

Brian is a 2L in the Part-Time Night Program at Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center from Holbrook, NY. Before Touro, Brian attended the University of Rhode Island and St. Joseph’s College, running for their Track and Field Programs. While at Touro, Brian works full-time as a Court Analyst for the Grievance Committee for the 10th District; specializing in escrow investigations.

Thomas Flesher – Senior Notes Editor

By day, Tom is an economics professor at Suffolk County Community College. His research interests include antitrust, sports law, and entertainment law. A member of the FlexJD program, Tom has appeared as an expert on the Long Island economy on WNYC’s All Things Considered, the Suffolk Times, and News12. Tom has also been quoted by NBC’s Hardball Talk on the topic of Bobby Bonilla’s deferred compensation agreement with the New York Mets.

Alexa G. Dante – Notes Editor

Alexa is a 2L who is interested in practicing elder law. When Alexa is not editing student notes and footnotes, her favorite activity is walking her dog, Millie!

Maria Lambros – Notes Editor

Maria currently serves as a Notes Editor on the Editorial Board of the Touro Law Review. With a background in Human Resources, she fostered a passion for Employment Law, reflected in her current role as Vice President of Touro Law’s Employment and Labor Law Society. During her free time, Maria enjoys traveling alongside her husband and spending quality time with her family. Engaging in intellectual pursuits, she finds joy in playing chess and solving jigsaw puzzles.

Lola Marie Pyros – Notes Editor

Lola is a 2L Full-Time Day Program at Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center from Farmingdale, New York. Lola attended Adelphi University to obtain a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology while being a collegiate competitive swimmer. Lola has an interest in medical malpractice, employment law, and family law. In her free time, Lola enjoys working out and spending time with her family.

Bridget Ryan – Notes Editor

Bridget is a 2L in the FlexTime Program at Touro University Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center from Babylon, NY, and works full-time as a Judicial Secretary in Nassau County Supreme Court. Bridget is an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association and is an advisory board member for the NCBA charitable arm, the WE CARE Fund. Prior to starting at Touro, Bridget graduated from Adelphi University Honors College with a degree in Digital Media Communications and interned as a photographer at Walt Disney World.
